We realized that these dolls were 'unspoken storytellers' which explain the customs, lifestyles, and culture of their countries. Since then, we started to connect the history of Okinawa and dolls. We only get to imagine the lifestyle of people from the old days by reading books and historical tool. Dolls are the re-creation of human beings who lived with nature from long ago, and we have been expressed fantasy through them. At the same time, it is a pleasure to explain our ancestors and the history of Okinawa through dolls- from the time when this small island got unified by the master, developed as the flourishing, peace, and quiet kingdom by trading with nearby countries.
